Alpine, Wyoming

Lori Delane invites us all to head north for a four-day summer adventure in Alpine Wyoming!  Alpine is located in west Wyoming just over the Idaho border and about 30 miles SSW of Jackson, WY. It is a perfect place to enjoy all the area has to offer while staying at a small town resort. Alpine is surrounded by picturesque mountains, three rivers and neighboring Bridger-Teton National Forest. The area has hiking, horseback riding, ATV areas and rivers for reel and fly fishing. The Adjacent Palisades Reservoir provides water activities for all – boating, jet skiing, fishing, SUP, kayaking; water skiing, and much more. More leisurely activities include scenic river floats, wildlife viewing, visiting Jackson (only 36 miles by car), taking a scenic drive to Teton National Park and enjoying our western resort. The town of Alpine is very welcoming with shops, restaurants and a brewery.

We will fly into Alpine Airpark (46U) where Lori has arranged nearby accommodations at the Flying Saddle Resort (named after a local WWII Flying Tiger Ace), which is only one mile from the Airpark.  The resort has heated indoor pool, spa, horseshoes, tennis, Restaurant and a bar.
